Wera Hobhouse 2An open meeting is being held in Totnes with Wera Hobhouse MP and Sarah Wollaston MP to discuss plans for local and national action to tackle climate change.

Caroline Voaden MEP will be Sarah W Coffeechairing the meeting.

The meeting will take place at the Totnes Boating Association Clubhouse, Steamer Quay, Totnes. TQ9 5AL

The meeting will take place on Saturday 12th October 10.30 to 12.00

Wera is the Lib Dem MP for Bath and has been Shadow Minister for Climate Change since February 2019. Since her appointment, she has led a campaign to end Government investment in shale gas exploration and extraction. She has also championed policies to reduce air pollution. Like Totnes, her constituency of Bath is highly engaged on green issues and Wera supports school climate strikes, local government net-zero targets and lifestyle changes for further action on climate change.

Sarah is now MP for Totnes and Chair of the Health Select Committee in the House of Commons.
